Imagine your life is a garden and you have limited water and need to leave space for each plant to flourish.

Some may be bigger and more important to you than others. Some you may not even like but you are obliged to have it.

Similarly, think about what is important to you. What would make it to your life garden?

Family? Career? Health? Relationship? Music?

List these items prioritize them and know how much energy would be needed for the growth of each.

Think of your energy as water you need to nourish and grow each plant. Some may require far more time and energy than others.

New cars cost money. If you want one you either need to make more money or take away some funds from your family. You will find yourself watering new plants rather than old ones more.

Get yourself clear on where you want your energy to be invested. This helps you to be honest about how much time and energy you have to commit to things. This way you don’t  overcomit and you also avoid stress.

When you prioritize your goals you focus and make things work.
